My name is Sabeen Malik and I am from Lahore , Pakistan. I have been involved with programming and computers for the past 8 years. I love programming and fortunately I am one of the few on the planet who get paid to do what they love.

Over the past 8 years i have been involved with around 200+ projects ranging from very small to pretty large projects. Every project taught me something new without exception and I have been blessed with really interesting projects over the years.

I come from a non-computing educational background , i hold a bachelors in  Economics. Recently I decided to resume education and got admission in Masters in Computer Sciences program at a local university , which has allowed me to complete 4 semesters of deficiency courses and then head straight into core MCS courses, I call it a great bargain!

I have also recently gained the Professional Grade of the British Computer Society. This gives me something to show for my years of experience in the IT sector.

I am currently working on several projects of my own , one of which involves PHP Code generation via a visual tool. I prepared a prototype of this software 2 years ago and have put it to use on several occasions. i am hoping to cut down about 75% of the  coding involved with small to medium range projects.

The crown jewel of my career remains to be the Green House Control System I developed for an Australian client. Which has been successfully running at University of Queensland over the period of last 4 years. It is also running successfully at 2 major Green houses in Queensland. The core of this project was used to run a Water filtration plant as well last year.

I get up every day with the hope that I can make a difference as best as I can and do my part in the Software industry which I love so much. I hope to remain an active and worthy part of it for several years to come.
